Privacy Policy

What we store

• Your email address, for your account, free-check reports and service emails.
• A hash of your password (never the password itself), if you create an account.
• The brands, websites, categories, competitors and prompts you enter.
• The answers AI engines return to those prompts, and the scores and reports we compute from them.
• Your IP address when you run a free check, used to limit abuse of the free tool.
• Subscription status from Paddle (plan, status, renewal date). We do not receive or store card details.

Why we use it

To run the service you asked for, send you your reports, handle your subscription, keep the free check from being abused, and keep the service secure. We do not use your data for advertising.

Who processes it

We use these service providers, each only for the purpose listed:

• Paddle.com: payments, billing, VAT and invoices. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all orders and processes your payment details under its own privacy policy.
• Resend: sending emails such as reports and account messages.
• OpenAI, Perplexity and Google: generating AI answers. They receive the prompts, which include the brand, category and competitor names you enter, but not your email address.
• Vercel and Hetzner: hosting the website, application and database.

Some providers may process data outside your country, under their own safeguards.

We don't sell your data

We do not sell, rent or trade personal data, and we do not share it beyond the providers above, except where the law requires it.

Cookies

We use a few essential cookies: one keeps you logged in, one tells our pages whether to show “Log in” or “Dashboard”, and a short-lived one lets a new report mention the email address it will be sent to. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Paddle sets its own cookies during checkout.

How long we keep it

We keep account data while your account is open. Free-check data is kept so the report link keeps working, unless you ask us to delete it. IP addresses used for abuse limits are kept only as long as needed for that purpose. Paddle keeps billing records as the law requires.

Your rights and deletion

Email hello@mentioned.click from the address on your account to get a copy of your data, correct it, or have your account, brands, prompts and reports deleted. We reply within 30 days. Deleting your account does not delete records Paddle must keep for tax purposes.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version; for material changes we will tell account holders by email.
